I went for a walk up Queens road the other day and noticed that their are a lot of massage parlors but no Brothels. It appears that the Auckland City Council is making it very hard for any of them to get a licence and one that got a licence changed and went back to a massage parlor.They found that when they were a brothel they had the cops calling in all the time and scaring the customers.I heard “Salon 28″ applied for a Brothel licence Resource consent and the commitee said the sign was misleading and needed to be changed.When a council representative was asked if the word “Brothel” could be used in a advertising sign the person declined to answer.Maybe they could call it “Salon 28 Brothel” it has a certain ring to it.
