When you rent a property for a brothel (including a SOOB) you not only have to keep in mind the statute laws and the local council bylaws you also have to beware of body corporates. A number of places have been closed by the body corporates even though in every respect they are legal businesses. There are still a lot of small minded people around (maybe they have small dicks so they feel the “power” by being arse-holes). Most of the council bylaws that restrict a SOOB are illegal because they try to overide statute law. But they can still apply home business bylaws so check these out as well (ie: North Shore Council does not allow a home business where the property uses a shared driveway). This applies to any home business on the North Shore not just Brothels (SOOB’s).
