Prostitution ring owners sentenced
A court in China has sentenced to death two leaders of a prostitution ring that forced hundreds of women to provide porn service in Chongqing, State media said on Wednesday.
Wang Ziqi and Tao Minggu were convicted of operating nine houses of prostitution disguised as teahouses, beauty salons and hotels in the city, the China News services said.
The court convicted Wang, Taq and 28 other members of the crimminal gang on charges of organizing prostitution, false imprisonment, bribery and rape.
Wang who is female and Tao used the front companies to hide their illegal earnings, which exceeded 100 million yuan ($US 14.7 million), the report said.
Ed. Like NZ they say the girls were forced but they probably werent. What they probably were not doing was paying the right people.
Prostitution is illegal in China but you can still buy sex here if you want to.
